Dr. David
Chiropractor & Acupuncturist
Born and raised in South Korea, Dr. David Yoo moved to the US at seventeen years old. Inspired by a family member’s struggle with spinal fusion surgery, Dr. Yoo realized the impact that wellness and health have on the quality of life and chose to study chiropractic care.
Dr. Yoo received his Doctorate in Chiropractic from the New York Chiropractic College and his Master’s Degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Finger Lakes School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Dr. Yoo is an NBCE Certified and NYS Licensed Doctor of Chiropractic, a NYS Licensed Acupuncturist, and a Certified Practitioner of Chiropractic BioPhysics®, specializing in spinal correction.
In his free time, Dr. Yoo enjoys golfing, skiing, camping, hiking, fishing, traveling with his family, and traveling all over the world alongside Chiropractors with Compassion. Together, he and his Canadian friends and colleagues have delivered life-saving adjustments to thousands of people in South America and Africa. Dr. Yoo and his wife Darrilyn live in the DeWitt area and enjoy raising their four children in beautiful Central New York.

Business Manager
Darrilyn is Dr. David’s wife and the mother of their 4 beautiful children. As our Business Manager she is always working behind the scenes to keep Healing Point running smoothly. While she manages many different aspects of the business, her favorite task is creating and maintaining a peaceful and inviting atmosphere for our patients and decorating for the holidays and changing seasons. She also manages our website and social media pages.
Darrilyn is a gifted musician with a Bachelor’s Degree from Houghton College and a Master’s Degree from Ithaca College, both in Music Education with an emphasis in vocal studies. A former public school music teacher and professional soloist, Darrilyn has used her musical gifts in the Syracuse community as a choir member and children’s choir director, and she currently serves at her church as a keyboardist and worship leader.
Darrilyn enjoys quiet prayerful mornings, singing, playing the piano, reading, gluten-free baking, sharing hospitality in her home, and drinking espresso (she is a self-proclaimed “coffee snob!”). Her greatest passion is taking care of her home and family and building healthy relationships with her children, three of whom she homeschools. Together her family of six enjoys taking care of their two adorable dogs, a beagle named Joy and a Shiba Inu named Juno.
